One of my favorite parts of the summer is going to the Shakespeare Festival.  It's all the more fun when you get to share it with your daughter, your mom and your sister.

We got to wish Britt a quick happy birthday before she went back to D.C and we headed to Denver.

We enjoyed a wonderful time in Denver getting acquainted with the new addition to the family.  This was the week-end Reid was blessed, so there was a lot of activity with family from both sides making the trip.

So many sights.  It was hard to decide which to include so I defaulted to the picture of the three of us together.   

It was fun to see Britt's world.  She was surprised and happy to see how much Carl loved DC.   She already knows how much I love it there and how glad I am that she picked it as her place to live and work.
