street food and skyscrapers

We were trying to find a particular outdoor food stall that came highly recommended....but we got lost....
So we ate here instead. It was actually quite delicious. I would go back again if we can ever find it again.

I had the wonderful opportunity to go to a Women's Conference in Hong Kong last week. In looking for someone to share a hotel room with I discovered a long lost friend from Houston....Melisa Weaver. We knew each other 17 years ago when our kids were in Primary together. She now lives in China and we reconnected this week in Hong Kong. What a small world.

For those familiar with our 'foot' adventures, this building designed by I.M. Pei was on my list of places to find while in Hong Kong. We had a free afternoon so I set out with a couple of friends to find it...mission accomplished. It houses the Bank of China.

I love IM Pei! And I love that you his building was your foot! I saw one of his buildings in Boston and it was so fun. The Louvre totally converted me to him.

thanks for giving me an opportunity to catch up with you a bit through your blog. What a fun time of life for you and Carl. Enjoy every moment of it! I'm hoping our paths cross again soon. If you're ever near San Fran, please call us. Love to go touring there with you.
