tea parties

Five years ago I went to London with my oldest two daughters.....

.....they enjoyed taking pictures at the wax museum....

...but one of the highlights of the trip was going on a tour of the country side....

...and 'going to tea' at a lovely little place in the village. At that time, we did not know there are healthy teas that fit in the bounds of the Word of Wisdom, so we had our first tea party in the beautiful county side of London and did not drink any tea...our fellow tea partiers thought we were a little strange.

Last week I was invited to 'high tea'...... memories of my first tea party surfaced and I had a good chuckle. I now know there are healthy teas.

This is the lovely place where the girls booked the tea party. It is called 'Carcosa Seri Negara'. The occasion was a "Sprinkle" since the guest of honor did not want a baby shower. (It took me awhile to get it)

...what a lovely way to spend an afternoon. I am now a fan of 'high tea'.
