This week I got to walk on the sky bridge between the Petrona towers and see a play at the Istana Budaya Theater.

SKY BRIDGE

Tickets for the sky bridge are free but you have to go early in the morning and stand in a very long line and then they give you a 15 min time slot for a certain time later in the day. I don't know if it was actually worth all that waiting, but I guess you can't live in KL without doing the skybridge at least once.

At the theater with Dee

When Carl and I were out for dinner one night I saw a poster for West Side Story coming from New York...touring in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the play. It took some effort to find out when and where, but I did it and was finally able to figure out how to get a ticket. The night before the play the Johnsons, friends from China, came to town on business and Dee ended up coming to the play with me...the picture of the two of us is for those of you who know her also. I will admit that seeing the theater was actually more exciting than the production, but it made for a fun afternoon. (Carl was golfing and Dee's husband was flying.)

I am leaving for the States in a few hours for more fun...watching Lucy for 3 weeks, checking on the new house and attending the Prince family reunion.
