Next was San Francisco. It's always so nice to land in my home country. One big glitch after 22 hours of traveling....my flight to Salt Lake was cancelled so I ended up in the San Fran airport for 12 hours!!! I was a wreck by then.

I finally made it to Salt Lake City at midnight, although by then I didn't know what day it actually was. I missed my ride to Logan, so I stayed in a hotel for the night before catching a shuttle the next morning.

I spent 4 days in Logan checking on the house and trying to get over jet-lag before heading to Portland.

The plane ride from SLC to Portland was very bumpy...some of the worst turbulance I have encountered. I was so glad arrive safe and sound and be greeted by the smiling faces of Jen, Katie and Lucy.

The end reward of all this traveling is getting to watch Lucy for 3 weeks while Jen finishes her teaching contract. Lucy is an absolute delight. You will be seeing lots of pictures of her during these next few weeks. Every thing she does is adorable. Katie and Jen are pretty entertaining also...I love being around them.
